研究方向与成果

The Surgical Robotics and High-Precision Force Sensing Technology Team, led by Professor Shichao Yang from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Tianjin University, consists of one national/provincial-level high-level talent, one professor. The team has been dedicated to research in the field of surgical robotics, focusing on natural orifice minimally invasive surgery robots, microsurgical robots, orthopedic surgical robots, endovascular interventional surgical robots, and intelligent sensing technology. Some research results have been validated through in vitro animal experiments. The team has published over 90 English SCI/EI papers and has won the first prize at the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition for two consecutive sessions.

By utilizing robot-assisted technology, the team has overcome challenges in traditional manual microsurgery such as limited precision operation scale, poor stability, and restricted perception ability. They have successfully developed a microsurgical robotic system. This system has the operational advantages of high precision, high stability, and strong perception capability. It effectively addresses issues related to precise and dexterous operation of robotic end-effectors and enhances the safety of auxiliary surgeries.

The team developed flexible endoscopic surgical robot systems for treating early-stage cancers in the digestive and respiratory tracts, validated through animal experiments. They also created microsurgical robotic systems for ophthalmology, vascular, and nerve repair surgeries, and developed high-precision force sensors to address missing force sensing information in surgical robots.
