The research institute closely serves local enterprises, with the core objective of facilitating enterprise innovation and talent cultivation. Through dispatching science and technical experts, conducting specialized trainings, giving lectures, and acting as special experts, the institute has a deep interaction with enterprises, proactively constructing a collaborative innovation bridge between universities, research institutes and enterprises, offering continuous scientific and technological backing for the local economic development.
Since 2021, the institute has cumulatively appointed 47 technology envoys to guide Shaoxing's large-scale enterprises. These technology envoys engage with the assigned enterprises to understand and address issues in the production process. They mobilize the research and development capabilities of their individual research groups and conduct extensive cooperation in areas such as product research and development, talent development, research platform construction, and joint applications for research projects at all levels.
In 2023, the institute conducted multiple specialized training sessions and lectures in areas such as systematic innovation, quality management, industrial technology software development, and enterprise digital transformation. These initiatives engaged with over 150 enterprises and cumulatively trained over 300 management and technical personnel from these organizations.
